Sunday School: 9:30
Worship: 10:45
At Wilcox Community Church we believe that God has placed us in this community, at this time, to share the love of Christ with our families, friends, and neighbors.
Therefore, we have committed ourselves to live out the following purpose statement with God's help in our daily lives:
Wilcox Community Church exists to help people of all ages come to faith in Jesus Christ,
worship God authentically, grow together in our
knowledge of Christ, love each other, serve our community,
and live each day passionately for Christ through the power of prayer and the
indwelling Holy Spirit, all to the glory of God.
November 2021
Verse of the Month:
Psalm 70:4
But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!"
Mission of the Month:
Voice of the Martyrs
Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) serves persecuted Christians around the world. It was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard and Sabia Wurmbrand, who were persecuted for their faith by communist Romania. Their story is told in the book, Tortured For Chrst. VOM magazines are available in the foyer. Take one home with you. Go to persecution.com for more information on VOM and how you can get involved. Sunday, November 7, is the Internation Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians.
**The WILCOX FOOD PANTRY is in need of a number of items. A list is posted on the foyer bulletin board. Thank you for supporting this important service.
